Photo Shop Titles in Yearbook

Practice making titles in Photo Shop.

We can create graphic elements in Photo Shop, giving yearbook greater variety and increased design quality.  Make a title for 4 different pages.  Review the following Photo Shop skills:

•  Select interesting fonts not available in Yearbookavenue.
• Use dropshadow. Remember the shadow can be any color and does not have to be black.
• Use the text warp tool for additional effects.

Save your files as last-first-photo-shop-titles. I will import them into yearbook so you may use them when designing your pages.

The example below uses Warp > Arc and Bulge.  Try your  different ideas.

• kerning - The distance between individual letters.
• tracking - The distance between letters over-all.
• vertical scale - stretching the type in a vertical direction (up and down)
• horizontal scale - stretching the type in a horizontal direction (side to side)
• baseline shift - raising part of a line of type up or down from the baseline, creating subscript or superscript.
